New Place, New Life, New Clients!

For those of you who don't know, Robert and I relocated to southern California at the beginning of August. Robert will be starting his post-bac pre medical program next week and after that life is going to get crazy! I am missing all things photography related, but I promised myself (and my marriage) I would not start advertising or taking new clients until September, after Robert is in full-swing with school. Right now we are just enjoying the time we have to spend together, settling in and enjoying our new place. This explains the lack of blogging this month...

However, I do have one engagement session to share in the next week, so stay tuned. AND, any tips or suggestions for successful advertising in a new town are greatly appreciated ;-)

Hey sweet girl! I'm so happy for you! And even a little jealous, enjoy your time together and the break from photos :D. It seems like you already know how they can take over your life :D. Your blog looks fantastic! And so does your new logo!! I really like your banner pic, it rocks :). Just wanted to say hi and see how the photos were coming along :D. How long are you going to be in Southern California?

Hey Jenna,
I'm not certain that you remember me, but I was a fellow College Lifer who graduated in 06. I came across your blog through Kelly Sho's blog--don't you love these worm holes? Anyway, I hope you and husband are well. I see that you guys have moved and that your husband is starting a post-bac/pre-med program; very exciting! We actually did the same thing (back east) last year and Jon (my husband) has just started his first year of med school. Welcome to the community of med-student families--it's very cool:) If you guys ever want to chat, just let us know! Very best to the both of you.
