Taylor and Elizabeth: Married!

I met both Taylor and Elizabeth in college - separately. Little did I know that one day the two would be married and I would be their wedding photographer! The two were married in Las Vegas last weekend and it was an absolutely beautiful day. They planned their wedding in just a couple of months and I was so impressed with the outcome - Elizabeth didn't forget a single detail! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day. Elizabeth and Taylor, I hope you guys had a wonderful honeymoon and I wish you all the best as you start your life together :-) Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your special day!

Could there be a more perfect backyard for a wedding?? (below)

Taylor and Elizabeth: Sneak Peak!

Last weekend I headed out to Las Vegas to shoot Elizabeth and Taylor's wedding. It was the perfect backyard wedding with no detail forgotten. I'll be gone at a conference for the next couple of days, so check back for the full post early next week....but for now, a little teaser :-)

Dave & Shana: Married!

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting with Kevin Wynn, a photographer based out of Ojai where I grew up. Little did I know that the bride and I actually went to high school together! I immediately recognized Shana when we walked in to take some getting ready pictures, and it turns out she was the lead in the musical (42nd Street) my freshman year of high school. She was still exactly as I remembered her - beautiful, genuine and extrememly funny! :-) Dave and Shana own Three Ring Entertainers in Ojai and their wedding was the perfect expression of their ability to put on a good show! There were fun moments, touching moments and silly moments and all together the day was perfect! Special thanks to Kevin Wynn for having me along!

I loooooooved her birdcage veil:

Putting on the final touches:

Dave and Shana opted for a first look. I love Dave's expression as he turns around to see Shana for the first time:

We headed to a local antique store for some portraits:

During the ceremony:

Beautiful details at the reception. They gave away clown noses as favors!!

Some candid moments:

Dave and Shana set up a "photobooth" for their guests. Such a great idea! Here are some of my favorites:

SEAN & MEG: ENGAGED!

Sean and Meg are such a wonderful couple with so much love for one another. We met up for their engagement pictures this past weekend and they came out ready to have a good time! I love the way they interact and make each other laugh, which I hope you see reflected in the pictures below! They were incredibly comfortable in front of the camera, which made my job that much easier :-) Robert and I will be photographing their wedding next summer and we can't wait to document and celebrate their special day!

Meg and Sean, I hope you find some pictures you love!

Leap frog, anyone? (Below)

So these last pictures were taken after it was dark out, using a street lamp as a light source because I didn't have a flash! However, I had to include them because they are perfect examples of what a fun couple Meg and Sean are. These are their faces in response to me shouting out things like: "scared!" "excited!" "funny face!"...You get the idea...

Be sure to check out the slideshow below for more pictures!
